As we watched the hurricane force winds tear across our neighborhood on August 12th, we were surprised by a black out. Hoping the power would return soon, we waited through the worst of the hail, rain, and wind, by our windows with candles lit. We saw porch tents fly and privacy fences fall, but we were not expecting the wreckage we witnessed after the storm ended. These pictures were taken of the ONCOR power tower at the end of our street. We now knew why our power hadn't returned right away.
Funny thing was that two years prior we had warned ONCOR that the tower was buckling and a danger, only to be ignored by their company. Now that danger could be disastrous to more than just their precious tower.
Timberrrr!
