Lola, a native of Carrollton, TX, spends her hot summer days with her owner,Courtnie, at a dog park in College Station, TX where Courtnie attends Texas A&M. After a brutally hot morning of typical Texas weather, I decided to take Lola to the local dog park for an hour of running, playing fetch, and getting out all of the energy that builds up in a 2 year old Lab. Needless to say, she soaked it all up and even took a dip in the pond. Instead of swimming, Lola decided to lay down and scoot across the pond floor while also keeping her mouth open to drink the water. It was pretty hilarious! She definitely stayed cool (and muddy) during our adventure to the dog park.
