I got caught outside during the hailstorm, near the Lakewood Library. I sought shelter under a tree but it became quickly clear that the hail was getting bigger and more profuse. I decided to make a run for it back to the house before I got hit on the head. The hailstones were now baseball to softball sized. I got a direct hit on the top of the shoulder and it hurt pretty badly. You can see from thephoto the extent of the bruising, ouch!
I got caught out in the hail storm and received a direct hi on the shoulder with a baseball sized hailstone. It hurt alot and still is very sore. very impressed with mother nature.
