A gravel truck collided with a SUV while traveling eastbound on the service road of Sam Rayburn Tollway. After impacting the SUV, the gravel hauler rolled to its side and then crashed into a traffic light pole, traffic light control center and a wooden high tension power line before coming to a stop and catching fire. Witnesses reported that the driver of the gravel hauler was pulled from the burning cab of his vehicle on fire. He was later transported by CareFlite to Parkland Hospital.
