When our 7-year-old daughter announced that she wanted to be a peacock for Halloween, I decided it would be relatively easy to make a fun, comfortable--and importantly, age-appropriate--costume. The smile on her face when she saw and put on the finished product made the hot glue gun burns and sewing needle puncture wounds well worth it! Our sassy little peacock had a great night!
