McCarthy Building Companies raised a total of $3,895 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. On race day for Dallas County on Oct. 15, McCarthy gave out pink “Heart Hats” in exchange for monetary donations, collecting $2,340 at its event booth. To show even more support for the cause, all survivors wearing pink race shirts received a hat for free. In addition, $1,555 was raised through the McCarthy team members who registered for the race event.
