Our Magical Engagement

Melissa and I planned a vacation to Walt Disney World and to Daytona Beach with her kids Adam (16) and Brandon (7). They were all excited because it was their first ever trip to Florida. Right away I knew that is when I wanted to propose. I talked to her oldest son Adam, and he was giving me suggestions. I first thought about just doing it on the beach, and even checked into having a banner plane propose, but once I found out the price, it was not an option. When we got to Walt Disney World, I had the ring in my pocket, and right when we walked down Main Street and stopped in front of Cinderallas Castle, I knew that is where I wanted to do it. We had asked a lady to take our picture, and right when she started to take it, I got on one knee and proposed. She was shocked at first and didn't realize what I was doing. I heard everyone around saying "Oh My God he is proposing". After I sweated it out for a few seconds, and she realized what I was doing, she finally said YES! Since I surprised her with the ring, I couldn't properly get it sized, so she couldn't wear it for the first couple of days.
