On Monday, August 22nd at 3:30 in the Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School (DISD) auditorium, Chacon Autos presented the Reilly faculty and staff with a giant $5,000 check. This opportunity came to pass in June at the National Independent Auto Dealers Association (NIADA) convention in Las Vegas, where Chacon was presented with the NIADA/Manheim Community Service Award. As the “prize” for winning, Manheim donated $5,000 to the charitable organization of the winner's choice. Chacon chose M.T. Reilly Elementary School. “We are so honored to win the award, but we’re even more excited about the opportunity to give Reilly a much needed donation, considering the recent budget cuts! We have had a great experience this past year working with everyone at Reilly, tutoring and helping out with special events, etc. It’s a really great school with a lot of wonderful kids!” said Chacon Autos’ Stefani Musick.
