At 2pm today I broke open a fresh egg on the pool deck at my home. Two hours later with the deck temperature of 116 degrees, the egg was actually cooked. Yes, we CAN fry an egg without the need of a frying pan in Texas. I am a Food Safety Inspector and measured the deck temperature with my digital thermometer. The pool water is 92 degrees. No need to set the spa heater, today it is SOLAR POWERED! I live in Mansfield, TX.
