HOOP IT UP!

Amazing Rockin' Kids HOOP IT UP for MAVS

The video for this song was played on the jumbo screen at the AAC before Game 4 of the Finals. Since the video was played, the Mavs went 3-0! It is a parody of the Kiss song "Lick It Up", only the kids have rewritten the lyrics and now call it "Hoop It Up"! The song is getting a lot of attention and we were hoping you would be interested in playing it on the air.

BAND INFO:

If seeing is believing, the For Those About To Rock School Jr. All-Star Band is proof that you are never too young to rock and roll! While most kids their age have not yet attended a rock concert, these kids have already rocked the main stages of many major venues in the DFW area and beyond! With an average age of just 9 years old (including a 7 year old drummer), this "super group" of kid musicians will leave you speechless as they rip through classic rock gems from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Kiss, AC/DC, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, and more!

Band members are:

Logan "Robot" Gladden (age 7) - drums/vocals
Payton Lanfrankie (age 9) - keyboards/vocals
Brendan James (age 10) - guitar/vocals
Jared Devino (age 12) - bass/vocals

As for my son Logan (the 7 year old drummer), all of his info. can be found at www.LoganRobot.com. Check it out if you can! As for the band, we don't really have a website specifically for the band b/c they are all students at the For Those About To Rock School in Southlake, Texas. We usually just direct people to the school's website at www.ForThoseAboutToRockSchool.com for info. re: the school - but there really isn't a lot of band information there. The band videos (including the Hoop It Up video) can all be seen on Logan's youtube channel page by searching "Logan Robot" or by going to:
