I stopped on the highway to take this picture June 3rd, 2011. About 25 miles south of Lamesa, Texas. My hometown. Shows just how bad the drought is there is West Texas. You could see 100 of these dust devils every day scooting across the fields some look to be a couple thousand feet high. Harmless but not pleasant when one sneaks up on you.
