As of 8:00 am a little over one inch of snow had fallen over Lone Oak in Hunt County. Traffic on Hwy 69 is at a crawl. One truck was seen off road and in a ditch where help was trying to free the driver.
By 2:00 pm almost 2 1/2 inches had fallen, and continues to fall.
This is the second year that Texas has been blanketed by snow, that this reporter can remember, in a long long time.
