Family members of murder victim question timing of killer's stay of execution

On July 21, 1997, Dorothy Booth's neighbor, Kimberly McCarthy, knocked on her door and asked for sugar. Once inside, she stabbed Booth and cut off her finger to take her wedding ring. McCarthy took the ring and sold it for crack cocaine.
