A&M researchers look to prevent wildfires caused by downed power lines

Since 2010, the Texas A&M Forest Service has counted 3,760 wildfires in Texas started when electric lines, or sparks emanating from them, came into contact with dry vegetation. Now they are looking into preventative technology.
