Dallas officers hurt in encounter with family violence suspect

A woman alerted police to the suspect in the 3900 block of Investor Drive shortly before 2 p.m. After officers pulled over the vehicle described by the witness, the driver hit one officer and then smashed out a window in his own car, police said.
