American Airlines alters merger posture, reaches TWU agreement

American Airlines has announced a major turnaround in its bankruptcy posture. Previously, the airline said it wanted to complete bankruptcy proceedings before talking to potential merger partners. As of Tuesday, it's willing to talk.
