Today marks one year since bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing 3 people and injuring more than 260 others.
Boston marked the anniversary with a private ceremony on the streets where it all happened.
This year’s marathon will be held next Monday. Among the runners will be Steve Harding of Plano. He’s looking forward to finishing what he started last year. He was just a half mile from the finish line when the explosions forced him to turn around.
Steve told News 8’s Shelly Slater why this will be such a special race for him.
