After the botched execution in Oklahoma Tuesday night, many are wondering if it could happen in Texas.

They used a cocktail of three different drugs on inmate Clayton Lockett. Something went terribly wrong, but it’s unclear if it was the drugs or the way they were administered that caused the problem.

It took 43 minutes before Lockett died from a massive heart attack.

We now know Texas has a supply of at least one of those drugs.

Terri Langford is a reporter with our media partner The Texas Tribune. She joined us on News 8 at 4 to talk about what all this could mean for inmates in Texas.
