VIDEO GM recalls: What does it mean for consumers?

It has not been a good week for General Motors.

The automaker has recalled another 3 million vehicles due to a potential-deadly ignition switch defect. GM has also been hit with a $10 billion lawsuit.

That has many car owners worried not only about safety, but also about what all this will do to their car’s value.

We talked with auto industry expert John McElroy in Detroit about what it means for you, the consumer.
