Who is the face of Alzheimer’s? A new study says it’s women.

A report from the Alzheimer’s Association found women age 60 and older have a 1-in-6 chance of getting Alzheimer’s in their lifetime. That’s compared to 1-in-11 for men.

Women 60+ are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer’s than breast cancer.

The question is, why?

Two experts joined Shelly Slater on News 8 at 4 with more on the findings.
