Today's Wednesday's Child has more energy than the Energizer Bunny.
Ray loves to build, so we took him to a place where he could have a field day doing just that! We went to the Legoland Discovery Center in Grapevine.
"This is the flower tower, because it has flowers on it. Little, tiny flowers," said 11-year-old Ray.
He is an energetic 6th grader who loves Legos and building towers.
His foster mom, Amber Baker, said Ray is quirky and creative, and very attached to her.
"I do love him," she said.
During our adventure at Legoland Discovery Center, Ray not only built towers, but he talked with us about what he likes to do for fun -- like watching his favorite TV show "SpongeBob SquarePants."
He also told us what kinds of foods he likes to chow down on.
"Spaghetti, with cookies and milk!" he said.
Ray told us he would like a mother and father to look after him. Parents who will listen to what he has to say, even if it's just talking about all his favorite characters on SpongeBob -- including Patrick who will eat anything.
"He eats paper, silverware, napkins, and even dirt!"
Ray's current foster parents say he is a loving, sweet child who needs parents with a certain quality.
"Patience, I think that's going to be a main thing," John Baker said. "Structure really helps him. He'll test the waters, like any kid will do, but I think patience is going to be the main thing."
Ray has become attached to his foster parents, but understands adoption and is ready for a mom and dad who are here to stay.
"Just hope that he can find his forever family," Mr. Baker said.
