Today's Wednesday's Child is a beautiful young lady, both inside and out. We spent the morning with 16-year-old Lupe at the State Fair of Texas.

Lupe had only been to the State Fair once before. Naturally, she was eager to sink her teeth into a Fletcher's Corny Dog.

We had a blast at the fair, playing water games and navigating our way through the fun house.

"I like to draw. I like to listen to music," Lupe told us. "I like to do adventure-type stuff."

At school, Lupe continues to improve in her studies and works hard to tackle tough subjects, like math.

"I like all my classes. I'm getting better at math," she said. "I really didn't like math at first, but I'm getting a hang of it."

At the age of 16, Lupe understands time is running out to find her forever family.

"[I'm afraid of] getting to 18, and I still don't have like a family that's like available to me," Lupe said. "That's like a big fear -- to be rejected and have nobody with you."

Thanks to a strong foster family, Lupe is confident she has plenty of good qualities to bring into a new home. Not only is she easy to get along with, but she's mature and filled with lots of love.

"With family, it's love," she said. "That's the best love right there."

When Lupe is not at school or hanging out with friends, she enjoys drawing. She recently won a drawing contest through the Boys & Girls Club.

"I did a Mother's Day card," Lupe said. "It was a contest where every Boys & Girls Club sends a piece of artwork in. If you win, then you can have your artwork sold around the globe. I won, and my artwork went to Puerto Rico and Florida."

Lupe has a lot of love and talent to share. Her hope is to find a forever family who will embrace it!
