Thursday afternoon rides were being tested along the midway ahead of Friday's opening of the State Fair of Texas.
News 8 sent photojournalist Tom Loveless with an air sick bag to test out 'The Flipper,' a ride that spins riders two directions at a 70-degree angle.
It sounds like Tom may prefer future assignments on solid ground!
