Hank Haney, the swing coach for Tiger Woods, quit the other day.

But who quits the world's greatest golfer? Haney says he did.

"It was time to move on," Haney said. "There's a time and a place for everything, and I felt like this was the time."

The the knowledge that he was walking away from the best in the business slow down his decision-making process?

"It did, because I've been thinking about it for a while," Haney said. "I knew the end was coming; I just knew it had been long enough, but I also just really thought about how good Tiger had done, how proud I am of his record, and I thought, you know, this is a good time."

Dale Hansen's Sports Special has more from this interview Sunday night at 10:30 on Channel 8.
