It’s illegal to sell synthetic marijuana in North Texas, but a chilling News 8 investigation found it is readily available.

Plano West student Oscar Maldonado, 17, smoked synthetic marijuana the night he died. He had been struggling for the last year to stay clean. Unfortunately, his story is not unique.

Substance abuse counselor Grace Raulston joined News 8’s Brett Shipp to talk about what parents need to know about this dangerous synthetic drug.
