The Solar Impulse, the first plane able to fly day and night without fuel or polluting emissions, spurred quite a reaction when it landed at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on May 23.
North Texans called 911 with reports of an unidentified floating object. However, fret not, the landing was from this world. With a distance of about 830 miles, the flight set an absolute distance world record in solar aviation.
