DALLAS - A top British home furnishings designer is ready to debut his unique collection in Dallas.

Timothy Oulton will open the doors of his first stand-alone U.S. store to the public this weekend.

Thursday morning, News 8 got an exclusive first look at the over-the-top showroom located at Central Expressway near Knox and Henderson. Some of the features to the store include a 5,000 gallon aquarium with a yellow submarine and red, white and blue fish, plus a London cafe with sweets and tea.

"Well, we like to do things a little differently," said Anthony Pearce, the marketing director for Timothy Oulton. "We sort of do things big, bold, red-blooded, a bit daring, sometimes a little bit off the wall. And, we had this idea that this would resonate with the people in Dallas and in Texas. When people come in we hope that they see something that they haven't seen before."

The Timothy Oulton showroom opens Saturday.
