DALLAS - Some of the nations future tennis stars could be right here in North Texas.
A local tennis club in Dallas is getting national recognition for its outstanding junior tennis program. The T Bar M Racquet Club was highlighted by the United States Tennis Association as one of its Certified Regional Training Centers.
Instructors at the T Bar M Racquet Club focus on developing the fundamentals of tennis at a young age. They hope that with the USTA's "10 and Under" initiative, more kids will start playing tennis as a way to stay active and develop technical, tactical, physical, mental and emotional areas.
The T Bar M Racquet Club has been a USTA Certified Regional Training Center since 2009 making it one of seventeen nationwide. The facilities include 14 outdoor hard courts, eight clay courts, and eight indoor courts.
