Dozens of North Texas women are getting ready for a 5K run unlike any before. The goal isn't to be the fastest or to beat the competition. It’s to get messy in the mud. It’s all part of Saturday’s “Dirty Girl Mud Run”. Mud crawls and inflatable obstacles are scattered across Cedar Hill State Park. On Friday, News 8 watched several local women try to make it through one of the challenges. A portion of the money raised goes to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
