With the announcement of another major project -- a golf course -- can the city keep up the momentum in developing southern Dallas? And what are the risks to the city's image next year on the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination? We'll pose those questions to our guest, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.

In a new segment called My Voice, My Opinion, Fort Worth Star-Telegram columnist Bud Kennedy discusses Texas secession and the tea party.

In Flashpoint, some Republicans are bending on their "no tax" pledge. Mark Davis of 660 AM the Answer is on the right; and on the left, author and producer Katie Sherrod.

And this week's Roundtable tackles Gov. Rick Perry's appointees; a long-term water plan for Texas; and two Texans who will take the chairs of congressional committees. Dallas Morning News Austin bureau chief Christy Hoppe joins News colleague and political writer Gromer Jeffers for the lively discussion moderated by WFAA political reporter Brad Watson.
