Dallas library shows off new digital bookmobile

DALLAS — Cities across North Texas face a challenging year financially. Libraries are among the services facing cuts.

Fort Worth and Haltom City are considering closing some branches.

And while Dallas has its own budget problems, library lovers are getting a look at the future this week: Digital downloads that let you borrow material without worrying about bringing it back.

The Dallas Public Library's Corrine Hill gave John McCaa a tour of the digital bookmobile.
