DALLAS -- Easter was more like Valentine's Day for a local couple who understand very well the true meaning of the wedding vow, "in sickness and in health."
Kenneth Killgo, a locksmith at Parkland Hospital, was critically injured last month in a motorcycle crash, even though he was wearing a helmet. He's been in a hospital bed at Parkland ever since and has had six surgeries.
Throughout the ordeal, Kenneth's fiancee Sharon has been at his side. They realized just how unpredictable and fragile life can be and decided now was the time to tie the knot.
The couple's family and friends made it to Kenneth's hospital bed for the ceremony., complete with a cake and flowers.
