DALLAS -- A car caught fire Tuesday morning, detouring traffic in Dallas.
The fire started on northbound U.S. 75 (Central Expressway) near Bryan Street.
Drivers were forced to exit Elm/Main while fire crews worked to put out the flames. They managed to douse them, but the fire started back up again a short time later.
The car was eventually towed after the flames were put out again. No injuries were reported.
U.S. 75 was reopened just before 8 a.m.
