DALLAS — On Saturday night, the western drama "Sweetwater" was the centerpiece screening of the Dallas International Film Festival.

Steven Root plays a corrupt banker in the film, which screens again Sunday, April 7 at 10 p.m. at the Angelika Dallas.

Lee Majors attended the festival on Saturday. The veteran actor expressed his support for independent filmmakers.

And the cast of "Charlie: A Toy Story" celebrated their family film by bombarding the media with marshmallows!

There is a full week of big events coming your way at DIFF. The festival's artistic director James Faust talked about Sunday's Latino Film Focus with WFAA's Shon Gables.
