DALLAS –– Back on my Feet is striving to change the perception and stereotype of homelessness, using running as a way to do it.

Pounding the pavement isn’t just about staying fit –– it offers strong and powerful lessons for life, helping those experiencing hardship to take things one step at a time. It builds endurance and self-esteem to get them to where they need to go.

On Wednesday volunteers and members gathered to take part in the 12 Hours of Giving: Treadmill Challenge to raise money and awareness for the organization.
