Mike Davis with SMU Cox's School of Business talks about the changes that may happen as a result of American Airline's parent company filing for bankruptcy protection.

"We're at a point now that the empployees are going to take it," said davis. "One way or the other they're going to have to accept a reduction in thier compenstation."

He said American has no choice and has to get the cost structure under control of the company won't survive.

American is the last of the US legacy airlines that had not filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
