On Wednesday, a teacher in Massachusetts was found dead behind the high school where she taught. Police have charged a 14-year-old student in her murder.

It comes two days after a student with a gun killed a teacher in Nevada.

Despite increased security, how safe are our schools? Rena Honea is the president of the Alliance AFT teachers union. She stopped by our Victory Park studios to talk with News 8’s Jason Wheeler about school safety concerns.
