ARLINGTON -- New interactive technology will be available at AT&T Stadium in time for the Dallas Cowboys' regular season.
On Friday AT&T and the Cowboys previewed the world's first fan-empowered digital platform. They said it will unite fans by creating an exciting and personalized game day experience.
Representatives showed off what it calls 'immersive columns.' They are 84 inches and will feature pictures and facts about Cowboys players and cheerleaders.This interactive technology will be ready for Saturday's pre-season game against the Ravens. So will a 130-foot display that includes 40 louvers that each rotate 360 degrees.
There is also a new mobile app calledUnite This House.It's going to be ready in time for the season opener in September against the San Francisco 49ers.
'You get all these fans interacting, engaging with their team, uniting their team in an amazing application that will allow fans to interact in a way that's never been done before,' said Gregg Heard, AT&T Vice President of Brand Design.
AT&T has been instrumental in bringing the latest technology to the stadium since it secured the naming rights.
