There's a new clue in a hit-and-run crash along Interstate 20 in Balch Springs, but police there say they still need more tips.
Investigators are trying to track down the driver who struck Heather Gant and left her for dead along the eastbound lanes of I-20 near the Seagoville Road exit early Sunday morning.
She had run out of gas on the side of the highway.
The vehicle that struck Gant is being described as a 2004 or 2005 silver Dodge pickup truck.
A Good Samaritan who stopped to help Gant has not been found. She continues to recover from serious injuries suffered in the accident.
