The NFL is taking full responsibility for the seating debacle that left hundreds of Super Bowl ticket holders out in the cold.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the lack of safe seats at a news conference Monday morning.
It is something that we have been very seriously, working at, Goodell said. We apologized to those fans that were impacted by this. We are going to work with them and we are going to do better in the future.
Goodell said the NFL could not compromise safety by opening the seats. There will be a through review and the NFL official said he will get to the bottom of what happened.
