DALLAS - Three of the suspects in the Medicare fraud investigation were in court this afternoon.

All of them pleaded not guilty to charges they conspired to defraud the government.

Two of them - Cyprian and Patricia Akamnomu will be kept in custody. The third, Charity Eleda was released after surrendering her passport.

On Tuesday, federal investigators said they were a part of a $375 million Medicare fraud scheme that officials say was headed by DeSoto doctor Jacques Roy.
