The U.S. Geological Survey reports a small earthquake struck southwest of Fort Worth early Sunday morning.

The 2.3-magnitude tremor was centered in Crowley just east of Benbrook Lake near the 6000 block of Rocky Creek Park Road and not far from the St. Francis Village retirement community.

There have been no reports of damage.

Sunday's quake was about 20 miles southeast of Azle, which has become a hotbed of earthquake activity in North Texas.
