Back in March, a Euless man was trapped in a burning van at D/FW Airport and unable to get out.

He wouldn't be alive today if it weren't for two Good Samaritans who jumped in to help. Thursday, Walter Vaughn and Kristina Gish were rewarded for their heroic efforts to save T.J. Griffin.

Vaughn was not scheduled to work that day originally, but decided to pull an extra shift, and Gish's cab was more than 30 minutes late to the terminal, putting them both in the right place at the right time to save Griffin's life.
