DALLAS -- Police have made an arrest in the July shooting death of a teenager.

Eric Romero, 16, was dropped off at Baylor Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the head on July 15 and died a few hours later.

Crime Stoppers offered a $5,000 reward for information at the time of the shooting, which police believe took place near Woodrow Wilson High School on Glasgow Drive around 10:30 p.m.

Police identified their suspect as Juanito Molina, 21. He was interviewed by detectives.

On Dec. 29, Molina confessed to accidentally shooting Romero and taking him to the hospital.

He has been charged with Criminal Negligent Homicide. His bond has been set at $15,000.
