FORTWORTH-- A man and woman have been arrested inSouthCarolina for the robbery and death of a man last month inFortWorth.

The car of Marion Brown, 53, was found burned on May 23 in SmithCounty near Tyler, Texas. His body was pulled from Cross Lake in Shreveport a day later, according to our content partners at the FortWorthStar-Telegram.

Damonica LanieshaEvans, 25, and BrandonBernardDaniels, 30, are accused of luring Brown to an apartment complex in FortWorth through an online escort service, the paper reports. They allegedly robbed and beat him.

Evans andDaniels fled the state but were arrested by authorities in Florence County,SouthCarolina. They are being held on capital murder charges and have warrants for aggravated robbery.
