DALLAS -- Dallas County Health and Human Services confirmed the 20th death from causes related to West Nile virus contracted in the 2012 season Tuesday.

A patient in their 70s who lived in ZIP code 75214 who was diagnosed with West Nile neuroinvasive disease last July died in April. No more information about the patient will be released.

There have been no new human cases of West Nile virus in the 2013 season, though infected mosquitoes have been detected in Richardson, Highland Park, Flower Mound, and Lewisville this year.
