KELLER-- The mother of a 12-year-old boy says her son is the latest victim of an attempted kidnapping inKeller after he was approached by an unknown man, who yelled at him to get into his truck.

This comes after two other attempted kidnappings were reported by elementary students inthe Keller SchoolDistrict earlier this month.

Thursday's incident happened around 6:15 p.m. in the 8800 block of Meridian Avenue. The boy, who goes toParkwood HillIntermediate School, described the man as white and overweight.

The boy says he refused to get into the truck and ran home to safety, but not without giving police a description of the suspect's truck -- a tan, possibly new model Toyota Tundra.

Police immediately conducted an aerial and ground search, but no suspect or vehicle was found.

Holly Driggars, the boy's mother, says she will no longer allow her son or her other two children to walk anywhere alone again.

She also says she's more cautious after police told her they don't believe this case is related to the other two attempted abductions.

In response to the May 13 and May 21 incidents at Caprock Elementary and Woodland Springs Elementary, Fort Worth police have assigned two patrol units to monitor Keller ISD schools.

Police are asking anyone with information to please call Crime Stoppers and be sure to teach your children about stranger danger.
