FRISCO - Frisco's Exide Technologies has 30 days to submit a work plan to the E-P-A.

Federal regulators have ordered the plant to do extensive soil, groundwater and creekwater testing to identify contamination from the battery recycling plant.

The Dallas Morning News reported Tuesday the work plan must detail how Exide will comply with the order, including estimates of time and cost involved.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Exide earlier this month for excess levels of lead at the plant. News 8 reported on the lead levels earlier this year.
