TARRANTCOUNTY-- A Fort Worth police officer has been indicted on a manslaughter charge for his involvement in a 2012 fatal crash.
OnAug. 20, 2012, Officer Christopher Bolling, 30, was speeding to help a fellow officer without using his emergency lights or siren.
He collided with a car being driven by 77-year-old Billie Addington onAzle Avenue.Addington was taken to a local hospital where he died three months later due to injuries sustained in the crash.
OnFriday, June 20, 2014, Bolling turned himself into the Tarrant County Jail. His bond was set at $7,500 and has since been posted, according to our content partners at the Fort WorthStar-Telegram.
Bolling faces two to 20 years in prison.
