Our Pet of the Week for this Valentine's Day weekend is Ellie Mae, a two-year-old Akita/Great Pyrenees mix.

She came to the SPCA of Texas after her owner died last month. Ellie Mae is playful and smart, sweet and loving.

Her new owner will also get a favorite toy that will go home with a dog who will be perfect for any family, big or small.
